CHOCOLATE PLUM TARTE

This Tarte is perfect for fall: we are making a crunchy dough with ground nuts, creamy chocolate whipped ganache, and top our Tarte with plums. I also created a rose pattern to make it even prettier! If you haven't make whipped ganache before, I will explain it to you before we jump to the recipe. Ganache is a cream based on chocolate and cream. This makes it melt in your mouth and -gosh- it's so incredibly creamy! For a whipped ganache you just beat your ganache up until it's light and fluffy so you can easily fill it into your Tarte dough. So let's get started!  RECIPE: For the Tarte dough:   Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups flour ( 400g) 1 cup sugar (200g) 1 cup butter (225g) 1 cup ground almonds (100g) Vanilla extract 2 eggs Start by mixing butter and sugar until combined Add the eggs, and flour, ground almonds, and vanilla Knead until you get a well-combined dough Put your dough into the fridge for 30 minutes For the whipped ganache filling: Ingredients: 1 cup/ 6 ounces d...

PUMPKIN PORRIDGE: THE PERFECT HEALTHY BREAKFAST IN FALL

This is the perfect fall breakfast, it's super easy to make, it has a lot of different textures (crunchy hazelnuts, sweet agave syrup, creamy porridge...). And trust me, it's healthy! In my blogpost about the chocolate porridge, I'm talking a lot about the health benefits of porridge, so if you want to check that out- here you go. Pumpkin itself is super yummy and healthy and if you are a bit unsure whether that really tastes good in porridge, try this recipe, it's amazing! I bought my pumpkin puree in a store (it's actually for babies, but who cares?!?), but if you prefer to make your own puree at home- brilliant idea. You just have to chop your pumpkin and let it ferment in boiling water until it's smooth and tender. Then blend it until you reach the preferred consistency. And when we're all done with prepping-we can jump right into the cooking process. RECIPE: Ingredients: 1/3 cup oats (35g) 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (61g) a pinch of cinnamon, cloves, and sa...

SUPER CREAMY CHOCOLATE POPSICLES: "melts in your mouth"-effect with crunchy hazelnuts

I loooooove these 2 ingredient chocolate popsicles! They only contain whipping cream, chocolate, and some time in the freezer before they can be enjoyed. I like to decorate them with chopped hazelnuts and even more chocolate but you can, of course, go for your favorite toppings. In fact, we are gonna be making some ganache and freeze it. I love this method because ganache is suuuper creamy and slowly melts in your mouth. On top, it's very easy to make, and you don't need an ice cream machine. I put my ice cream in a little container like this . If you want, go for a vegan version by using vegan dark chocolate and vegan whipping cream ( you could also try it with full-fat coconut milk).  Have fun with the recipe and enjoy the summer time☀️🔆 Recipe: Ingredients: ( for 4 popsicles) 150g whipping cream (2/3 cup) 100g dark chocolate (2/3 cup) optional: hazelnuts, melted chocolate for decoration Instructions: In a small pot, slowly heat the whipping cream. Chop your chocolate and...

Healthy Banana Cake (Bowl Recipe) : healthy, vegan and with included video

This recipe was first shown in my IGTV video on Instagram. But there was no 'real' recipe, so here it is. The banana cake is made for a small bowl ( 10 cm or 3,9 inches). It isn't vegan but healthy- no butter or sugar. For all of you who prefer an even sweeter variation, you can add some coconut sugar if you want. But in fact, the overripe banana is sweet enough.
