I loooooove these 2 ingredient chocolate popsicles! They only contain whipping cream, chocolate, and some time in the freezer before they can be enjoyed. I like to decorate them with chopped hazelnuts and even more chocolate but you can, of course, go for your favorite toppings.
In fact, we are gonna be making some ganache and freeze it. I love this method because ganache is suuuper creamy and slowly melts in your mouth. On top, it's very easy to make, and you don't need an ice cream machine. I put my ice cream in a little container like this. If you want, go for a vegan version by using vegan dark chocolate and vegan whipping cream ( you could also try it with full-fat coconut milk).
Have fun with the recipe and enjoy the summer time☀️🔆
Recipe:
Ingredients: ( for 4 popsicles)
- 150g whipping cream (2/3 cup)
- 100g dark chocolate (2/3 cup)
- optional: hazelnuts, melted chocolate for decoration
- In a small pot, slowly heat the whipping cream.
- Chop your chocolate and place it into a bowl.
- Start pouring the whipping cream over your chocolate and stir until the chocolate is melted completely.
- Let the mixture cool for 2-3 hours in the fridge.
- Beat with a kitchen machine or a hand mixer until it gets a little thicker and creamier. The whipping cream doesn't need to be stiff- your mixture should be liquid.
- Fill your ice cream mixture into your containers and place them into the freezer for 5-6 hours.
- (optional) Decorate your popsicles with melted chocolate, chopped hazelnuts, or any kind of decoration you prefer.
