Orange Cake with Dark Chocolate Whipped Ganache

In my opinion, the combination of oranges and dark chocolate is so delicious, especially in winter. It's somehow a very chic and sophisticated pairing, which I believe makes it even more suitable for the holiday season. So, today I will share my favorite recipe with you, combining the flavors of oranges and dark chocolate: an orange cake with whipped dark chocolate ganache. The cake dough is a very moist and juicy cake with the juice of a whole fresh orange! Then, we add a rich and creamy dark chocolate ganache, before we decorate the cake with slices of fresh oranges! As an inspiration, I used a cake batter recipe from one of my favorite Instagram creators, freshbeanbakery. Her recipes are amazing and often small batch versions, which I find a very clever niche! Creating the first component - how to make a moist and juicy orange cake The key to a rich and moist cake batter is using lots of orange juice (fresh one, of course!) and yogurt or sour cream. This ingredient specifically...

Coffee Chocolate Cake (small batch, one-bowl)

If you are looking for a moist and rich cake that fulfills all of your chocolate and coffee dreams, this one is for you. For the base of this cake, I am baking a super easy one-bowl chocolate dough with sour cream and real espresso for that rich and moist coffee taste. Then, I top the cake with a chocolate coffee frosting, it is super simple too. We are using instant coffee and cocoa powder to enhance our flavors even more. If you want, you could add some berries on top - I think that would make the cake even more special! The chocolate coffee dough For the chocolate coffee base, I used a recipe from freshbeanbakery as guidance. I'll link her original recipe here . I just swapped out the hot milk for hot strong coffee in order to achieve the coffee flavor. The rest of the recipe is pretty simple, too. We start by whisking together the cocoa powder, instant coffee, and hot espresso. This is called "blooming" your cocoa powder and enhances the chocolate flavor. Then we ad...

COFFEE CHOCOLATE CARAMEL SHAKE

This Shake is easy, yummy and you can choose how your ratio between coffee and chocolate is! I used Caramel Sauce to top my Shake, you can skip that step, but I wouldn't recommend that. The recipe for the Sauce will be linked. Let's start! Recipe: Ingredients: 2 tsp. Caramel Sauce (you can find the recipe here ) 100ml Milk (1/2 cup) 3 big tsp. cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. Agave Syrup or other liquid sweeteners Brewed Coffee (as much as you like) OPTIONAL: Whipped cream Instructions: In a pot, mix together milk, agave syrup, cinnamon, and cocoa powder and heat everything. Take a large jar and mix together coffee, hot chocolate, and milk until you reach your desired taste. If you like coffee, add less hot chocolate, if you like hot chocolate, add less coffee. Top your shake with whipped cream and caramel sauce. Enjoy! If you did this recipe, make sure to tag me, so I can see your  result.

SUPER CREAMY CHOCOLATE POPSICLES: "melts in your mouth"-effect with crunchy hazelnuts

I loooooove these 2 ingredient chocolate popsicles! They only contain whipping cream, chocolate, and some time in the freezer before they can be enjoyed. I like to decorate them with chopped hazelnuts and even more chocolate but you can, of course, go for your favorite toppings. In fact, we are gonna be making some ganache and freeze it. I love this method because ganache is suuuper creamy and slowly melts in your mouth. On top, it's very easy to make, and you don't need an ice cream machine. I put my ice cream in a little container like this . If you want, go for a vegan version by using vegan dark chocolate and vegan whipping cream ( you could also try it with full-fat coconut milk).  Have fun with the recipe and enjoy the summer time☀️🔆 Recipe: Ingredients: ( for 4 popsicles) 150g whipping cream (2/3 cup) 100g dark chocolate (2/3 cup) optional: hazelnuts, melted chocolate for decoration Instructions: In a small pot, slowly heat the whipping cream. Chop your chocolate and...

VEGAN CHOCOLATE PORRIDGE MUFFINS: super delicious and easy chocolately recipe

Are you a REAL porridge lover?? I think I'm kind of addicted to warm chocolate porridge, especially in these cold autumn months. SO, I thought: Why not create muffins that taste like porridge? They have such a cool consistency, and of course a nice chocolate flavor. These vegan muffins are also made with oats and buckwheat flour, so they are healthy as well! Before we can actually start- I want to introduce you to the "vegan baking world". Especially for beginners, these notes could be quite helpful. Flax eggs: because we need to replace the normal eggs in the muffins, we use flax eggs. You basically just mix 1 tbsp. grounded flax seeds and 1 tbsp. hot water in a bowl and wait a few minutes. It will turn into a glibbery paste ( it is a little bit like chia pudding) with which you can easily work. This has the same effect as eggs-so the muffins will rise and get fluffy. Oats and spelt-buckwheat flour: I mix the oats before I put them into my recipe. But I like to not mix...

Healthy Banana Cake (Bowl Recipe) : healthy, vegan and with included video

This recipe was first shown in my IGTV video on Instagram. But there was no 'real' recipe, so here it is. The banana cake is made for a small bowl ( 10 cm or 3,9 inches). It isn't vegan but healthy- no butter or sugar. For all of you who prefer an even sweeter variation, you can add some coconut sugar if you want. But in fact, the overripe banana is sweet enough. I haven't made the cake in the microwave yet but you can try it if you want. I bake it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.  So let's start with the easiest and most delicious banana cake!   Recipe: Ingredients: 1 egg 1 pinch salt 1 mashed overripe banana 1 tbsp. melted coconut oil 1 tbsp. Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp. ground almonds Vanilla extract 4 tbsp. flour  1 tbsp. chopped dark chocolate  Instructions: Separate the egg and beat the egg white with the pinch of salt until stiff. In another bowl, mix the mashed banana, together with egg yolk, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. (If you ...

AFTER EIGHT BALLS: peppermint chocolate balls

These fudgy, creamy After-Eight Balls are a must for every chocolate lover! And you just need 3 ingredients: heavy cream, dark chocolate and mint leaves for the extra flavor. So it's a must to use unsprayed, organic mint. The little balls are also perfect as a gift and you can easily store them for 1 week in your fridge. Before we get started an important tip for all the people who are going to be using cups to measure the ingredients. Please take 1/4 cup of heavy cream and remove 1 tablespoon before you use it, so you have the most perfect result ever! This is just because 50g heavy cream isn't exactly 1/4 cup and to prevent any troubles I would recommend doing that. Have fun :)    Recipe Ingredients: 2/3 cups dark chocolate (100g) 1/4 cup heavy cream (50g) 10 organic mint leaves Instructions: Fill the heavy cream into a pot and add the washed mint leaves. Now bring it to boil. Chop the chocolate and add it to the heavy cream, stir until the chocolate melted completely. Trans...

CHOCOLATE-ALMOND PORRIDGE: healthy breakfast idea

Creamy Porridge to start the day... Chocolate flavor to create the "dessert illusion", topped with fresh blueberries and a light almond taste make this healthy Porridge a real DREAM! So let's st art  with a  quick "Porridge-Guide" to help you optimize your Porridge-Skills! What are the basic ingredients for the perfect Porridge? Oats: we don't have to talk about that, I think. Use "normal" quick oats and that's it! Milk: you can, of course, use normal milk, but for this recipe, it's best to use almond milk to give the almond flavor we want. Banana:  I love using overripe bananas in my Porridge because it gives a natural sweetness. The banana also increases the thick and creamy consistency, so make sure to use it! Chia Seeds:  I started using chia seeds a couple weeks ago and it's amazing. The chia seeds thicken the porridge and create an almost pudding-like consistency which I really enjoy! The effect is typical, easy, and helpful in ot...
