Have you ever dreamed of fudgy, chocolatey Brownies? Well, I have THE recipe that you're looking for. I changed some classic techniques and replaced a part of some of the most known
ingredients to make the Brownies taste even better. So, if you want the perfect chocolate treat -jump to the recipe here. But I would appreciate if you read the following instructions to improve your Brownie -skills. Let's go!
What are the basic ingredients?
For the perfect Brownies, you'll need:
- Butter and Coconut oil: the coconut oil gives the whole batter a really nice texture and makes the taste of the chocolate even more intense. Butter is one of the most basic but at the same time most important ingredients. To create the fudgy consistency, we use melted butter and coconut oil.
- Chocolate: a Brownie without chocolate isn't a Brownie, right? So make sure to use high-quality chocolate with a high percentage of cocoa (70-80%).
- Sugar: I used a mixture of normal, granulated sugar and raw sugar but instead of the raw sugar you could also use brown sugar. I would highly recommend using both types of sugar because this influences the consistency as well.
- Special ingredients: vanilla, coffee powder, and salt are the "Flavor-boosters" for the Brownie. Especially the coffee takes the normal Brownie to the next level. So make sure to use a high-intensity coffee powder.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (113g) unsalted butter
- 1 large tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup (175g) dark chocolate (70-80% cocoa)

- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown or raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder (intense flavor)
- 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cup (160g) all-purpose flour
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C/356°F
- Melt butter, chocolate, and coconut oil in a pot at medium heat and let it cool completely.
- Beat the eggs together with sugar, vanilla extract, and salt (optional) until foamy and creamy.
- Mix flour, cocoa, and coffee in a separate bowl.
- Slowly start combining the chocolate butter mixture with the egg-sugar mixture.
- At least, sift the flour into your dough and stir until completely combined.
- Spray a 9x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Fill your final dough into the pan.
