Probably one of the most famous cookies: Snickerdoodles. They should have a soft texture in the inside and a crunchy cinnamon-sugar crust at the outside. I tested and tested and found a special ingredient: whipping cream. It gives the whole cookie a really rich flavor and increases the texture. So are you ready to start baking??
Then let's goooooooo.....
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (110g) soft, unsalted butter
- 1/8 cup ( 25g) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup (52g) white sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
- 1/8 cup (30g) whipping cream
- 2/3 cup (85g) all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C/356°F.
- In a large mixing bowl start creaming together butter and sugar until it's very light and fluffy.
- Add egg and whipping cream and continue beating the mixture until everything is combined well.
- In a separate bowl mix flour and cinnamon.
- With a rubber spatula, start folding the dry ingredients into the wet.
- Put your final dough into the fridge for about 20 minutes.
- With an ice cream scoop, place little balls out of the dough on your baking sheet. Leave some space in between because they will spread.
- Sprinkle them with sugar and put them in the oven for 15-20 min.
- Enjoy!❤️❤️
